I. Introduction

The CM5IO_HDMI_IN is a 1920x1080 resolution video capture card specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi platform. The combination of Raspberry Pi OS and its supporting software tools enables the functionality of video recording and live streaming for HDMI signal sources. The expansion board adopts a USB 2.0 port to connect with the Raspberry Pi OS and can be fixed above the 40Pin GPIO. It is compatible with our company's CM5IO_Mini and CM5IO_Plus expansion boards, and can also be used with the Raspberry Pi 4B, Raspberry Pi 5, as well as the Raspberry Pi CM5IO board. It can also be used temporarily with a PC if assembly isn't required.

The installation and setup of OBS can be referred to (this link: OBS Installation and General Settings). Just follow the regular settings, but there are two points to note:

1. Set the resolution of the output video

The default output resolution of OBS is 720p. If you want to input other resolutions, you need to set them manually.

Go to "File - Settings - Video" and set the "Output (Scaled) Resolution" to 1920x1080.
